Sharon Murphy

Sharon is a PACFA (Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia) Registered Psychotherapist at Glebe and Forestville. Sharon has also worked in primary and high schools as a school counsellor, and taught at the Australian College of Applied Psychology. Sharon has over fourteen-years’ experience providing treatment for children, adolescents, adults, couples, parents, divorced parents, and families. In her work, Sharon draws predominantly from her child and adolescent psychoanalytic psychotherapy training; as well as couple and family systems training; Circle of Security parent education training; Matre Meo training and Mentalisation Based Therapy (Basic and Family) training. Sharon has a range of experience, including treating conditions that often require longer term work such as cPTSD and personalitiy disorders.
