About Julian-Pascal

Hi there

I am a UK-registered Counselling Psychologist, Australia-registered Provisional Psychologist and Psychodynamic Psychotherapist offering specialist assessments and psychological therapy for individuals and couples. I am trained to work across clinical issues and have completed extensive further training for working with concerns that frequently impact the LGBTQIA+ and Queer community (e.g. coming out, gender dysphoria, non-monogamy, sexuality conflicts, sex work, substance misuse, grief, and trauma). With over 10 years of clinical experience, my approach has refined itself over time. I draw from different therapeutic modalities in my work (trauma-focused approaches, existential psychotherapy, cognitive behavioural therapy and psychodynamic psychotherapy), but have developed a specialist focus on psychodynamic psychotherapy which aims to explore, identify and modify the unconscious factors that contribute towards ongoing difficulties.

In addition to my qualifications in Psychology and Psychotherapy, I have acquired certification ias an Advanced Accredited Gender, Sex & Relationship Diversities therapist and a Dynamic Interpersonal Therapy (DIT) Practitioner.

I offer therapy online/in-person to individuals, couples and multi-partnered people. My approach is best suited to those who are curious about their minds and want to get to the root cause of the problem.
