About Yu-Chi
Yu-Chi brings more than 10 years of clinical and research experience across private practice, hospitals, and academic research settings in Australia and Taiwan. He currently practises in a psychiatrist-led private mental health clinic, supporting adults and adolescents with a broad range of complex psychological presentations. Yu-Chi is experienced in working with first responders, emergency service personnel, and clients affected by trauma/PTSD, workplace stress, work-related psychological injuries, and return-to-work challenges.
Yu-Chi previously held postdoctoral research appointments at the Brain and Mind Centre, University of Sydney, and the Westmead Institute for Medical Research. His research and clinical work has focused on clinical assessment, treatment outcomes, major depressive disorder, post-traumatic stress disorder, sleep disturbance, neurodevelopmental and psychiatric presentations, cognition, and the relationship between brain-based differences and everyday functioning. Grounded in the scientist-practitioner model, Yu-Chi’s therapeutic style is evidence-based, warm, collaborative, culturally responsive, and deeply client-centred.
